New York legalized adult-use cannabis under the MRTA (2021). Adults 21+ may possess up to 3 ounces of flower or 24 grams of concentrate, and home cultivation is permitted. Many prior cannabis convictions were automatically expunged/sealed, with broader sealing continuing under Clean Slate. Driving is impairment-based (no numeric per se limit).
